My name is Kara, and I chose adoption for my child. My child has two loving parents, a big brother, and everything she needs. I have the opportunity to see her occasionally, and her parents text me pictures and updates often. After the adoption, I finished school and even got the opportunity to go to college. If I had not chosen adoption for my child, I would never have met my soon-to-be husband. We met in class, got to know each other, and have been dating ever since.

When we met, we just hit it off. They were caring, compassionate people and were happy that I wanted to be involved in her life going forward.
I feel very confident in my choice of adoption for my child. Adoption is a loving choice that gave my baby a great life with loving parents. It gave me the chance I needed to get my life on the right path. And, I have this extended family now that cares about me and includes me in their life.
